Wake Up Your Creative Genius! Learn How to Laugh in Eight Easy Steps
Bill Boon, Iowa State University
This fast-paced, interactive presentation is devoted to humor. Edward De Bono declares that humor and creativity are the same thing, because they both stimulate the same part of the brain. The audience is challenged to come up with more than one right answer in solving problems.
Bill Boon insists that humor is the Ben Gay of the soul, because it takes away the pain. Therefore, humor is good for you and will keep you healthy. If you can't learn to laugh at yourself, then it is up to the rest of us to do it for you! Boon is known for his class projects on creativity with enough fun and personality to make the nightly news. There have been contraptions that changed form as they rolled down a hill. There have been machines that shot water balloons at the professor. There have been cardboard boats that floated across Lake LaVerne.
This presenter has been a professor at Iowa State University for over 20 years and his sessions on Creativity will be one like EIA has never experienced before in the history of the EIA Conference. |
