The EIA headquarters hotel -

by calling 480-945-7666 or 800-528-7867. The EIA discounted room rate is $145 single/double plus applicable taxes. Each additional person is $15.00. A small block of rooms at the government rate of $90 plus applicable taxes are also available. The cut-off date for the special rate is August 29. After that date, the hotel reserves the right to offer rooms at the best available rate. Check-in time is after 3:00 p.m. Check-out by 12 noon. Guest services can arrange to check baggage for those arriving early when rooms are unavailable and for guests attending functions on departure day. Porterage is $6.00 per person, round-trip and is automatically added to your bill upon departure. Likewise, gratuity for housekeeping service is $2.00 per room per night and is added to your bill upon departure. Transportation from the airport to the hotel is available.

American Airlines is offering a discount to attendees of the EIA Conference. A discount of 5% off available fares with a 7-day advance purchase, or 10% discount with a 60-day advance purchase can be obtained by calling the toll free Meeting Services desk at 1-800-433-1790. You must use the EIA authorization code #A2592AG and book your reservation through the toll free phone number to receive the discount.
Southwest Airlines is also offering a discount to attendees of the EIA Conference. A discount of 10% off many already low fares with only a 5-day advance purchase is available to EIA attendees who identify themselves with the id code. Changes are permitted without a service charge based on availability. Please call the toll free Meeting Reservations number, 1-800-433-5368. You must use the EIA authorization code #J5207 and book your reservation through the toll free phone number to receive the discount.
Avis Rent-A-Car offers discounted rates for conference attendees traveling between September 16 and October 5, 2002. Prices range from $32.99 to $77.99 daily, and include unlimited mileage.
