2010 Annual Awards Winners
The IdeasAmerica Association annually recognizes the best ideas submitted from employees of its organizational members. This year, more than 100 ideas were submitted from around the world for consideration.
 
An independent panel of judges reviews each idea to measure against the criteria of economic impact, increased productivity and ingenuity. This year’s award winners are to be congratulated for being the best.
 
Leading the pack of honorees is the Overall Idea of the Year Winner that went to Chad Fry, Jeffrey Szall and Josephine Warner of Honda of America Mfg., Inc. who developed an Associate Training Fixture.
 
Individual Idea of the Year Award Winner was Richard Pitts of Red River Army Depot for his suggestion involving the Bradley Transmission Dyno Test.
 
The Team Idea of the Year Award went to Dubai Aluminium Company Ltd. team for the fabrication of an efficient mulitiple use table Pre-Heater.  Suggesters: A.K Sadiq Basha, B.C. Rao and Abdulla Asi.
 
The Green Idea of the Year Award was earned by G. Satheesh, R.N. Sotaso and N.B. Ajeeth for their Environmentaly Friendly Fume Duct Damper idea submitted by Dubai Aluminium Company Ltd.
  
The Best Program Administrator Award was earned by Maryam Bin Fahad from Dubai Municipality.
   
Communication Excellence Award for Communication / Marketing was received by Dubai Municipality and the Communication Excellence Award for Electronic Communications was given to the Transportation Security Administration Idea Factory.
   
Advocate of the Year Award was received by Jenan Sadiq Naser of Dubai Municipality.
  
Small Business Idea Program of the Year Award was received by Andrew M. Schuman of Hammond's Candies and Jared Heyman of Infosurv, Inc.
  
Executive Leadership of the Year Award was given to Amna Awadh Al Siri of Dubai Municipality.
  
Presidential Award was received by Larry Truax, IA's Immediate Past President from Grote Industries Ltd.
   
The IdeasAmerica Association serves professional managers and administrators of employee involvement and suggestion programs and has been in operation for 68 years. It is estimated that its member organizations receive more than 250,000 suggestions per year.
